graphic displays, but interactivity doesn't work

Expected Results:  
change colours as per description

this bug maybe related to bug 271204

The linux build also doesn't work for this example

The os X build does work for this example.

This doesn't work because we don't recognise "text/ecmascript" as a valid MIME-type.
