Details
Allthough it is very easy to *add* new search-plugins over the search-popup, it is not possible to *remove* plugins. Instead, you have to manually delete the associated files in the searchplugins-directory yourself. It would be handy to be able to remove search-plugins just like bookmarks, over a rightclick-menu invoked on the plugin-item. The cheapest method would be an additional menu-entry "Remove plugin" that opens the searchplugins-directory, but that won't help the normal user.

sorry, I was searching with "contains string" instead of the default "all words"... oops. Is this feature in the trunk already? *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 232272 ***

No. See bug 232272. It might get done for Firefox 1.1.
