When selecting "View Important" or any Label, the message-view gets filled with
all mails having the corresponding Label set.
Now, when changing the Label of a message to anything other than "Important", it
should get filtered out of the active display, but it is not.

This results in an inconsistant user-interface, as now mails with different
Labels are listed, although "View Important" is selected.
we don't remove messages from a view when they no longer fit the view criteria -
that would be very annoying. For example, the selected message would disappear
when you read a message in an unread messages only view...

I understand that this can be annoying, and this effect should of course be avoided.
However I think it could not hurt to ponder this issue and think how this
UI-inconsistency could be solved in another way.

Maybe a subtle indication that the message is there but not really belongs to
the view-criteria?
This could be indicated by writing the message in italics, for example, or
greying it out...

What do you think?
One might at least filter everything but the currently selected message according to the view. Then when the user moves off the message that has had its label changed, it could disappear.

Or, at least, provide a UI element to force the folder to have its view re-applied. Currently, one has to either leave and re-enter the folder, or select a different view, and then come back to the original one.
