It is also failing to accept my password,most likely due to the e-mail acct. error. I can find no way to correct this. I even removed thunderbird and reloaded it,only to get the same results. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.simply try to use thunderbird 2. 3. Actual Results: same Expected Results: opened my e-mail none

After exploring was able to change preferences and am able to use thunderbird. So far I am glad I made the switch.
