After switching to a Grouped By Sort, messages which were flagged as deleted no
longer display the deleted icon, and selecting to "delete" the message again
then flags it as not deleted.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
This occurs on any IMAP folder on my Cyrus mail server:
* OK l337.ad.ln9.net Cyrus IMAP4 v2.1.12-Mandrake-RPM-2.1.12-5mdk server ready

1.  Under "Account Settings" | "Server Settings" set "When I delete a message:"
to "Mark it as deleted"
2.  Make sure the messages in the folder are in unthreaded sort.
3.  Delete a message.  Thunderbird properly shows it as deleted.
4.  Hit "G" (or use the menu) to turn on the "Group By Sort".
5.  Locate the message you deleted in step 3.  It will show up as not deleted.
6.  Press the delete key, or button.  The status will not change.
7.  Press delete again.  The message will flag as deleted.

Actual Results:  
See above description #5.

Expected Results:  
The message should still show its deleted status.  Forwarded and Replied
messages stil have the correct icon overlays.

plesae try a newer tbird .9 daily build - this has been fixed...

Seconded.  Version 0.9+ (20041122) works as expected in all my test cases.
