Just installed Service Pack two of Windows XP when the computer crashed three
times in a role. When I finally managed to go onto my desktop Thunderbird was
removed. I tried to start it from the programs bar and the computer crashed.
Mouse did not move any more ..., no report, no chance to get it started again.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.try to open Thunderbird
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Computer crashes

Expected Results:
open

no information
I haven't heard any other reports like this, but it sounds like SP2 is being
very bad...
what kind of computer do you have? is it an athalon? be as specific as possible.
It is an AMD athlon XP-M Mobile. Meanwhile I deinsatlled service Pack II and
everything works again perfectly. After I sent the bug Report to you I
recognised that the computer crashed twice during the boot prodcedure (by
loading my personal user account) as well, so its maybe just an microsoft
failure in this SP II.
yuck, thx, marking invalid...
