User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 The page is originally in big5. When switched to the default western encoding (ISO 8859-1), and attempting to select text to copy, the highlighted text is correct, but the text selected is incorrect (right click on the highlighted text to see). This is possibly related to the bug described in 261654 and 260128. Bug occurs only in non-default encoding, and gets progressively worse down the page. Applies to all other pages, though this problem may not become apparent until very far down on some pages, if at all. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Change Encoding from Big5 to ISO-8859-1 2.Highlight last 5 characters of the line that begins with "CD2---" 3.Right click on highlighted text to see what was selected. Actual Results: °µ¡B° was copied. Expected Results: Selection begins with B° and ends with 3 other untypeable characters.
Same problem occurs in "view source." However, if end of line (carriage return/new line) is highlighted, selection catches up with highlight until next line.
