Everytime I download through FF onto my desktop I get a severly annoying problem
with FF telling my finder to rearrange my entire desktop. All the icons get
placed into the upper right default location stacked one ontop the other. I find
no way around this except to make a fold specifically designated for downloads.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.find a file to download, either on a url or via a webmail app
2.download file to desktop
3.after download is complete, click/goto desktop
4.all icons are now rearranged

Actual Results:
all icons rearrange on top of each other in the upper left default location

Expected Results:
place the icon/download in an available location on the desk. NOT rearrange all
the items into the corner.

sorry not the most programmer tech savvy so I cannot provide code info but here
is what I know.

System Version:	Mac OS X 10.3.6 (7R28)
Kernel Version:	Darwin 7.6.0

No major extensions or prefpanes that should effect this.
Please check if "View->Show View Option->Keep aranged..." (when the desktop is
"focused") is checked.
Confirmed -- "Keep arranged" is unchecked. Annoying as hell.
I have this bugg too, it happens whether you have a few files on the desktop
whether it is over crowded.

and Really, it is annoying .....

bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.
