Customise the navigation toolbar to include the print button.  Clicking it opens
the print dialog.  I think it should print directly to the default printer using
default settings rather than opening a dialog to avoid delay due to user
interaction.

Include a message for a session's first Print command with a summary of the
current print settings as a reminder of how it will go. From then on, single
click should do the trick.

Not sure if this is possible but saved and used printing settings (between
sessions) should include landscape/portrait and all other printer specific
settings. For example, I usually print a batch of news articles, two pages per
sheet but I have to set that for each tab. I know I could define another logical
printer with the desired settings but that'd be a much harder way to do it for
end users, who, in the other hand are (we) used to this behavior in MS Office
and other widely used apps.

BTW, why the print button is not part of the default set of icons?
