Details

Bug on thunderbird 0.9 and mozilla suite 1.8a4

1 have a mail account set to send text as html+plain text
2 open a compose window and type some text (you have a composer window with the
html toolbar)
3 send your message
4 go to the "Sent" folder, select your message and choose "edit as new"

expected result : message should be edited in HTML mode according to the account
preferences
actual result : message edited as plain text, you can't add color, tables...

This is very annoying in our business, we often have to reuse messages sent to
clients and users don't understand why sometimes the toolbar is there (the
original message contained html) and sometimes not (the message was sent as
plain text). Sending as HTML only is not an option for us for compatibility
reasons. It seems that thunderbird analyses the messages before choosing the
editing mode, it should also check what the default setting is for the concerned
account.
