User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; pl-PL; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041108 Firefox/1.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8a5) Gecko/20041121

On some pages Mozilla 1.8a5 adds space to many elements, which disappear when
you open the sidebar. One of these pages is AviaryPL Firefox website,
http://www.firefox.pl/ , where a 30px-high blank space is added between the top
part of the page and the content part.

I initially thought that it was our (AviaryPL) code error only made visible in
Mozilla 1.8a5, but it's not, because if you press F9 to open the sidebar (or to
close it) - the problem disappears.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to a website, e.g. http://www.firefox.pl/
2. Notice rendering problems
3. Press F9

Actual Results:
After 2 - bad rendering, after 3 - correct rendering

Expected Results:
Pages should be rendered correctly without the need to open the sidebar. :-)

This happens only in 1.8-trunk builds, Firefox 1.0 is perfectly ok.

I may create a testcase later.
Marek, such bugs should be added as unconfirmed or you should add info who
confirmed that bug for you.
Zbigniew: I have received IM-reports from other people using 1.8a4 and 1.8a5
over last month, who see this bug, too.
this worksforme with linux trunk 2004112606, although I do see the bug with 1.8a5

actually, layout bugs should not be filed as NEW without a testcase.
Now this works for me in Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8a6)
Gecko/20041125 (gtk2 version).
