It only goes away after I close Thunderbird. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.compose email 2.send email 3. Actual Results: See details Expected Results: Minimized button should be gone, since the window is gone.
Bug 130572 reports thisproblem under NT 4.0. I've never been able to reproduce it. Do you have any always-resident utility software running that might cause this sort of a problem? -- such as a program to move certain task-bar buttons into the tray.
