How we can install an already downloaded extension in offline mode ?
I did'nt find a way to install them when I'm not conected to the internet.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download an extension with IE
2. Disconect from the internet
3. Try to install that extension in offline mode
Actual Results:
You can't install extension in offline mode

Expected Results:
Make it possible to install extensions even if we are not conected to internet.

Make it possible to install extensions even if we are not conected to internet.
You can, by dragging and dropping it into the extension window.
I already try to install them in that way but it did not work.
Extensions which don't have their maxVersion externally raised by update.rdf
will install in offline mode. Ones which will install in a particular version
only if they are able to check online for newer version compatibility
information will not.

Useful (but likely to end up invalid) bug report: "When I try to install the
Foobar extension version 0.0.1 while offline, it fails with the "not compatible
with your version" message, but it works while online."

Support request that should go in http://forums.mozillazine.org rather than
Bugzilla: "How we can install an already downloaded extension in offline mode ?"

Your explanations are useless since it does not work in my case.
Since I post this report I have tryed every way to install the extension in
offline mode and still not work.
Since Firefox needs much extensions to be instaled after the software
instalation, to have the same functionality like IE I declare Firefox a jerky
product.
Especialy the Show Picture extension it should be integrated in the Firefox and
not presented like an optional instalable extension.
FlashGot extension should be a part of the Firefox too.

And you forget that there are few milion of users that use Firefox and don't
know very well english because they country language is other than english, they
cannot use a support forum as well as others, so the only thing you can do is to
make Firefox a better product so that users to not be forced to use support forums..
I hope you undertand what I wana say since my english is not my primary language
that I speak.
