The "File/Remove Selected Attachment" menu item should be greyed out when there is no attachment selected.

This menu item will go away a soon I check in the new addressing widget as you will be able to select and delect attachment using the delete/backspace key.

Build 2000-04-07-08M14: NT4, Linux 6.0, Mac 8.5.1 Reopening With no attachment in the new message I'm still seeing the File|Remove Selected Attachment. I also tried attaching a file, then removing and the File|Remove Selected Attachment remains.

I don't see how this can be an M15 stopper. If you can check this fix in before it branches then go for it. Marking M16 unless someone can convince me otherwise.

This TEMPORARY menu item has been removed as you can remove an attachment using the delete or backspace key. Mark it as invalid.

The menu item has been removed from mail compose file menu. Verified on win32, macos, and linux using the following builds: win32 commercial seamonkey build 00042609-m16 installed on Dell P500, Win98 macos mozilla seamonkey build 00042611-m16 installed on G3/400, MacOS 9 linux commercial seamonkey build 00042608-m16 installed on P200, RedHat 6.1
