User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0

Same thing happens with Netscape 7

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click on a link and return to page providing link
2.
3.

Actual Results:
visited links do not change color

Expected Results:
Changed link color from (in default case) from blue to purple
This depends on how the page is coded, some websites have the same color for the
visited as well.

I see no url nor testcase in thig bug, please provide one.
also can it be that the page you're looking at is loaded from cache and thus
shows as before clicking? Can you check if that is NOT the cause?

This is a wfm [and many others], so if you don't provide a URL and more
information, this will end up being marked as WorksForMe.
sevans@fuse.net please provide more info, otherwise we'll resolve this bug as
worksforme
WFM, please reopen if y ou can reproduce with a nightly build.

Isn't this the same bug as 78510? A very old bug, which weirdly some claim to be
fixed, but still is not fixed in MS Windows Firefox v1.0
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=78510
There is also an URI to test with (link opened to another frame but color not
changed to :visited)
(In reply to comment #5)
Bug 78510 deals with links being opened in another windows, tabs, framesets etc,
but also mentions "Basically, Mozilla does not show a link as visited until the
page is reloaded."

Here the reporter goes back to the page, which may or may not involve a reload.
But there's no way of knowing for sure since the reporter didn't answer when he
was asked for additional information, both on 2004-11-25 07:26 and 2004-12-04 04:02.

Bug 78510 is indeed a very likely one for this one to be duped to, and if
sevans@fuse.net gives more info we can leave this WFM or dupe this to bug 78510.

Good find Zimon!
