I have a filter for moving messages from known people (stored in my address
book) into a folder. However, this filter does NOT work when my friends use
their alternate mail address.

And, a more general question: why is the amount of addresses in the address book
limited to two?

Interesting in light of bug 210893 -- but I cannot reproduce the problem; it 
appears to be filtering on alternate addresses OK, even if the name fields don't 
match.
