rename any non-empty folder to a new name, then rename it back to its old name.
voila the entire content (all mails) of that folder is gone. fortunately
restarting the mozilla application brings these mails back, still VERY scaru the
first time!

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. rename any non-empty folder to a new name, maybe "doh"
2. rename that folder back to its original name.

Actual Results:
the mails were gone.

Expected Results:
the mails should have stayed.

the mails reappear if you restart mozilla (including ALL browser windows).
Dup of Bug 65303.

By the way, why you didn't search bugzilla before open new bug?
Bug 65303 is very easily found by searching bugzilla with "summary includes
rename" ("rename && folder" is maybe required to avoid too many hits).
