The address bar drop down list displays correctly when either deleting the
current url from the last letter using backspace, or on entering a url with no
alternatives (as it's being entered). It also displays correcly whilst "www." is
entered, although as the address is entered after that, if there is more than
one address in the drop down list then only the first line shows (the top of the
text for the second entry is just visible). The drop down box isn't drawn
completely, and the lines only extend to just over one entry. The visible part
is the same height as the field for the "search for" part.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Enter a url into the url address bar
2.
3.

Actual Results:
If there is more than one possible address, the drop down list is not drawn
completely and only extends to just over one entry. The bounding for the box is
not present along the lower egde. The scroll bar can still be dragged down into
the invisible portion bringing the addresses below into view.

Expected Results:
The drop down box should be complete.

I've had this problem with all of the 1.8 series, although it's not present in
1.7.3. I'm running slackware 10.0 with the 2.6.7 kernel. I'm using X from the
Dropline Gnome 2.8 release, although the problem occurs in KDE also.

Are you using a 3rd party theme?
There have been lots of changes since 1.7 which your theme may not be aware of.
I haven't been using a third party theme, just the default classic one. I moved
my .mozilla directory and no longer had the problem, so I guess the theme
details in the directory would have been from an old version of Mozilla. Thanks
for your help.
I don't expect major problems with people upgrading from 1.7 to 1.8, so I'll
call this one WORKSFORME.
