User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8a5) Gecko/20041123 Camino/0.8+ Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8a5) Gecko/20041123 Camino/0.8+ I never use the Google bar, preferring keyword searches, so the Google field isn't in my toolbar. But I thought I'd try Go > Search The Web today. Every time I use it, Camino crashes. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Remove Google bar from your toolbar if it's there. 2. Command-Shift-F or Go > Search The Web 3. Enter search terms, click Search. Actual Results: Google page loads with first page of results, then Camino crashes.

Can't repro. Does it happen with a clean profile ?

On further testing, it is definitely not as simple as I originally thought. I wasn't able to repro every time with my dirty profile (it crashed a lot, then I reported the bug, then it stopped--figures), so I started with a fresh profile, and here's the new set of steps. 1. Open Camino. Camino home page loads. 2. Open a new tab. 3. Command-Shift-F. Type search terms. Type return. 4. This works. Now switch back to tab #1 with the Camino home page. 5. Command-Shift-F. Type search terms. Type return. Camino either freezes with a beach ball, or crashes with the crash reporter dialog coming up, every time this way.

neither Geoff nor I can reproduce this - reopen if you can repro with the latest nightly and can give good steps
