I get the navigator screen instead. Netscape 7.2's -edit works as does Mozilla 1.7.3. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: "C:\Program Files\mozilla.org\Mozilla\mozilla.exe" -edit Actual Results: navigator screen Expected Results: composer screen no crash. Ctrl-4 brings up creator.
your user agent says firefox, but i presume you're complaining about mozilla...

WFM with a Linux Gtk2 trunk build I made yesterday.
I can confirm with the latest nightly build that this is indeed still not working! I have my "Open" object set to do a mozilla.exe -edit "%1" and it just opens a browser with my default page. When I remove the -edit it opens the %1 variable in a normal browser. So obviously the -edit is not launching composer. Additionally mozilla.exe -edit does not launch the composer it just launches a normal browser window. This was working up until a month or so ago.

Working as of build Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; en-US; rv:1.8b) Gecko/20050211 Apparently fixed sometime since build 2005013005.
Does seem fixed now.
