User-Agent: Opera/7.54 (X11; Linux i686; U) [en]
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041111 Firefox/1.0 (Debian package 1.0-2)

This is also reproducible, with different effects, using Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U;
Linux i686; de-AT; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041007 Debian/1.7.3-5

I provide (as attachment) two example svg files that render fine using Opera/
Linux and the Adobe SVG plugin. They also render fine using Mozilla, Firefox,
Opera and IE under with the Adobe SVG plugin. So this bug is specific to the
Mozilla/Adobe plugin/Linux combination (as the same plugin works fine with
Opera).

The problem is that certain floating point values seem to be crippled. Apart
other cases, this affects coordinate translations via ViewBox and half-
transparent objects.

The first provided example should show a single black square, the second a black
and a grey square (and a third, invisible square). Firefox does not display the
first example, and it omits grey square from the second example (As it does with
all other half-transparent things). Mozilla-1.7.3 itsself displays the first
example fine, but displays three black squares in the second example.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install firefox or mozilla
2. Install the adobe SVG plugin 3.0 so mozilla and firefox recognize it
3. Open the example files I attach to this bug

Actual Results:
The image display is broken.

Expected Results:
Give a correct image display
Addition: The windows browsers we successfully tested are firefox 0.9.2 and
mozilla 1.7.3 - newer versions seem to crash on svg display, see the appropriate
bug reports filed by others.

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and

(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
