When an animated GIF starts to run on this page, the page "un-draws" itself. A few page components persist, but most of it devolves back to a grey background. This has happened pretty reliably whenever there's an animated GIF on the page. the GIF itself displays fine, and is one of the components that sticks around. There are actually a lot of problems with this page; I suspect they're caused by fast-and-loose page coding. Sometimes it renders beautifully, but many times the screen gets clobbered if it's windowshaded, moved, etc. Many times, the screen doesn't come up right at all. This is just the most specific bug to report.
Linux specific bug

It looks to me that the problem with this page is bug 20185, not having anything to do with the animated GIF. It seems to work with viewmanager 2, unless there is some other problem i don't see. Marking as duplicate for now, unless anyone can show that it is otherwise. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 20185 ***
