Details

The Compose window's Attach and Security button icons are the only colorless icons in the Mac Thunderbird theme and because of that they appear to be disabled, especially in button only (no text label) mode. This isn't critical, but I think it would be a usability win to add a hint of color to those icons.

Yup, definitely. I'm afraid I think the bulk of the Mac icon set is not particularly eye-catching (as in really easy for the eye to pick out exactly what you want), but those two especially fade into the background as if they were disabled.
Comparing http://mxr.mozilla.org/aviarybranch/source/mail/components/compose/skin/mac/compose-toolbar.png (which this would have been filed against) to what we have now, WFM.
