Frequently (3 out of 4) Mozilla will not do the search requested, but instead wants to save it to disk. But nothing gets saved.

"The file "search" is of type application/octet-stream, and Mozilla does not
know how to handle this type file. The file is located at: http://www.google.com
What should Mozilla do with this file? ... "

I cancel and try to do the search again, and nothing happens. Rebooting the
computer will usually get one search before it hangs again.

I can immediately open Internet Explorer and use Google from there.

I have a printscreen of the failure which I would attach to this report, if
there was a way.

Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Do search from Google
2.
3.

I use Mozilla in the default configuration.
I understand you that are having difficulty using Google to perform
we searchs. Are you able to provide a more detailled recipe?
