After entering my hotmail account, when I go into the Junk-mail folder, and try
to  click on "Empty", or if I select all and click on "Delete" the Ok/cancel
dialog pop's up, but clicking on "Ok" does nothing, rather the Ok-button gets
disabled. "Cancel" does work, i.e. does close the window.

I am also seeing this, and the same thing is present in Konkeror.

(Report is probably NOT A BUG in some form or another)

This doesn't seem to work in Mozilla application suite either (1.7.11). I think
it has to do with the 'empty junk E-mail' page being loaded in a separate tab --
( I have an add-on which always loads new windows in a new tab).

Though I haven't tested it, the original report is probably WFM (and the
site may gave changed).

Comment 2 is probably a new bug. I doubt that it will garner much attention
here.

If you can open a javascript console, do you get any messages? Are you able 
to do the "Empty junk mail" operation in Konkeror (or Safari)?

Whilst I cannot myself make a promise, it is likely that if you can identify
some defect in Firefox or MAS that is related to the erroneous behaviour, then
it will be investigated and fixed.

WFM.  Hotmail seem to have improved their performance a lot.  I will close the
bug as a result - please reopen if I'm wrong!
