Filing for someone else who sent me an email but didn't know how to file a bug: I went to the www.rpv.org site then to a reservations page, https://www.donationreport.com/init/controller/ProcessEntryCmd?key=J1M0F1A7V5 I filled in the data then pressed the submit/order button, The page address line in Firefox showed the following: https://www.donationreport.com/init/controller/ProcessAddItemsToCartCmd however, the page was blank and the transaction, of course, could not be completed. I was using Firefox 1.0 via my dial-up ISP www.wmconnect.com. Firefox was not selected as my default browser. I tried to access the donationreport.com site with cookies enable and with cookies blocked; neither method worked. I kept getting the blank page. When I used the embedded browser that is in the wmconnect.com site to attempt the transaction, everything worked fine. I also checked with the sysad at donationreport.com and he reported that they had not experienced any down periods over the last several weeks and their system was working fine (.....but they always say that, don't they!?)

Here is another email from the same person. His email address is VPFacilities -AT- wmconnect.com if anyone is interested in contacting him. I'm going to ask him to test on Mozilla Seamonkey to see if this is a core issue. This might be cache-related What he wrote: I really appreaciate your help on the incompatibility issue with the donationreport site. That page will come down after the friday event, so that particular site will no longer be available to test. I thin anyone wanting to test could test every step up until you actually confirm credit card numbers and of course, you don't need to put valid cc numbers in to test. I think the problem is related to the fact that I am opening Firefox as a secondary browser after my ISP homepage with IE embedded already has loaded. When I use the embedded IE browser everything works, but the Firefox browser will not retain data from one page to the next, so transactions are impossible. Since writing before, I have discovered the same problem at WSJ.com and FT.com. I suspect any site that uses secure pages associated with financial transactions.

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter.
