would it be difficult to make each tab colored to the background color of its
respective page?  the tab text could instead be black with a white outline, or
some other such high-contrast setup, or the text color could also be determined
by the web page's text color.  this might be better suited for an extension, but
it has the potential to be pretty durn spiffy.
