When I returned to Thunderbird, the message is not there. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Write e-mail 2.File|Save As|Drafts 3.Open saves message - nothing to open Actual Results: Draft message appears to be gone. Expected Results: Opened draft message to continue to edit and send
The drafts do save under the local folder, not the inbox folder that is used to send and receive.

(In reply to comment #1) > The drafts do save under the local folder, not the inbox folder that is used to > send and receive. that's not true for imap-accounts. possible workaround: initializizing the drafts-folder by dropping manually a mail out of another folder into the drafts folder (this mail can be removed again immediately), then an further draft-mails are saved.
