Enable an event type that describes date-based event in which the time-of-day
nor duration are needed, i.e. "Sally lost her front tooth", "Rover (the dog)
came in season", etc.  Imagine being able to use this calendar like a kitchen
calendar where you note events that are time/date sensitive as well as simple
informational events.

    Could you please clarify how this request is different from the already
available 'This event lasts all day' option?
no reply, and i also don't see any difference.
(might actually be asking for journal entries, bug 185537)
