User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 I was trying to copy one of the folders named "Local" into the "Bookmarks Toolbar Folder". The application crashes when I paste. Both the commands (copy and paste) are executed via the right-click-context menu Earlier, I tried "moving" the folder onto the bookmark toolbar and that worked fine. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a folder containing bookmarks 2. Right click the folder and "Copy" 3. Right click and try to "Paste" the folder into the "Bookmarks Toolbar Folder" Actual Results: Crash Expected Results: The Folder should have been copied into the "Bookmarks Toolbar Folder"

Something similar: New copy of Mozilla on virgin machine running XP. Copied bookmarks.htlm from previous machine into the correct location. Close windows explore, fire up Mozilla. No bookmarks! Check folder. Found that bookmarks.htlm had defaulted back to the 14 kb file that comes with Mozilla. Went to the storage folder to recopy the file - suprise! it was now also the 14kb file that comes with Mozilla. I've lost all of my bookmarks. Thanks!
