using Thunderbird 1.0RC1RC1 (20041130) on win2k.

I haven't tried to reproduce with a clean profile, but...
1. Have some RSS feeds set up (I had mozillazine feedhouse and planet mozilla)
2. Delete all feeds and empty trash
3. Click on "News and blogs"
4. Click "get mail"

Actual result:
Thunderbird says "checking RSS feeds for new items" and continues to do so
indefinitely. Stop button doesn't make it stop, but app remains responsive and
will do other things (e.g. viewing IMAP folders in other accounts)

Expected:
Thunderbird doesn't check RSS feeds because there are none
