Joyce, can you install the latest Mozilla 1.7 build or the latest Firefox build, then uninstall your current version of java and install the latest java 1.5.0 update 4 from <http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/download.jsp> where it says "Download JRE 5.0 Update 4" and retest? I have been playing games most of the evening with a recent Firefox and the most recent Java on windows xp sp2 and haven't crashed once. If can reproduce the crash using recent builds and the latest java, please reopen.
