Force links that open new windows to open in:
Firefox opens new windows from links when web pages request them. If you prefer
to use tabs as you browse, this behavior may be counterproductive. You can force
Firefox to open links that would normally be opened in new windows to be opened
elsewhere. To do so, select the checkbox for this optionpreference and choose

But this is not present in the tools -> options.

Consider a site where after clicking a link, a new browser window opens. But
this is irritating. I would like to open it in new tab.
There is no option to do so.
Actual Results:
Link opens in new window.

Expected Results:
Link should open in new tab.

I know that the woraround is to use middle mouse button. But the end user
constantly uses rt. button. Its v. distracting and irritating to purposely use
middle button to open the link in new tab.
This is more irritating when the mouse is scroll type.

Thanks.
