User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a6) Gecko/20041201 Mnenhy/0.6.1.10024
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a6) Gecko/20041201 Mnenhy/0.6.1.10024

Try to install the latest calendar_windows_20041117.xpi into aktuall
Tinderbox-Nightly, Mozilla crashes instantly.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a6) Gecko/20041201
Mnenhy/0.6.1.10024 {Build ID: 2004120100}

Regression maybe caused by the Merge-Checkin from Aviary:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=242529

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Just try to install an *.xpi into actuall Trunk-Nightly
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Mozilla crashes

Expected Results:
Install *.xpi successfully
Keywords: regression
Summary: Crash while try xpi-install → Crash while try xpi-install into newest Trunk-Nightly
This happend also with other xpi's. I can't install any xpi.
Have reproduced the crash with {Build ID: 2004120106} but Talkback would not
come up while mozilla is crashing. What a mess, no stack.

Have only very few (useless?) things from Windows-Crash-Utility:

AppName: mozilla.exe AppVer: 1.8.20041.20106 ModName: xpcom_core.dll
ModVer: 1.8.20041.20106 Offset: 0000108d
This is quite likely related to the aviary landing yesterday

see Bug 253750 Talkback doesn't launch anymore on crash
especially Bug 253750 comment 5

I assume you are using zip builds. To get talkback working, close Mozilla,
delete compreg.dat in the components folder, it will be recreated at start, and
talkback working at future crashes.
Of course this doesn´t help if master.ini, qfaservices.dll or the talkback files
are missing from the components folder, which happened sometimes. You can´t copy
the missing files from other builds, as this will give wrong data.
