spun off from bug 272066. on Mac, the quicksearch field in Contacts sidebar is
missing the close button (although the region is active).

cc'ing Kevin. He may figure this out faster than me.

It looks like the searchBox.css file is getting brought into the contacts
sidebar. All the other style rules for the quick search box are working (such as
the search criteria being in grey, the quick search background images, etc). But
for some reason the clear button image just isn't visible. Very strange.

you rock Kevin. I couldn't figure this out. 

Can you make sure that the main mail window and address book window still look
correct with the searchBox.css change?

Checked in on branch. I tested all search fields and they look fine here, but I
could use a second opinion :)
