User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 I've been designing the page at http://www.stensa.nl/ and I use Mozilla, but when I change the html codes for the headers -->
test
to
test
the text should be displayed smaller in the webbrowser. This works with Internet Explorer, but it goes the other way around with Mozilla.
is smaller than
. This is very tricky, because it would be easier if it was the same in Mozilla. So for instance
should be smaller than
. This would give it more compatibality. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Change
test
to
test</5> 2. 3. Actual Results: Normally in Internet Explorer, the <5>test</5> text should be displayed SMALLER, but in Mozilla it is displayed BIGGER. Expected Results: Showed it smaller instead of bigger.

Utterly gratuitous testcase.
While there are some people with interesting ideas working on Mozilla, so far as I know there aren't any sociopaths, which is what it would take to decide to change around the way
-
work like that. And, if they had, yours wouldn't be the first report, or even the 500th duplicate. So, the only assumption left to make is that you've messed up in your HTML. I'm betting on a typo, since three of the fourteen tags in your bug report are typoed. When you are writing HTML, the validator at http://validator.w3.org/ is your *friend*: sure, it will tell you about things you don't care about, but it will also tell you about stray
tags in your main frame, and probably about whatever you've done to get what you expected to be
bigger than
.
