Up to now, no other web page has presented the same behaviour. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Install the package from Lavasoft 2.Perform a scan in your system 3.Try to open yahoo.com 4. The site is not displayed ( same in Firefox ) 5. The site could be seen in MS IE Actual Results: Unable to visit yahoo.com Expected Results: Open yahoo.com

This is hardly a view source issue. Go to Edit -> Preferences -> Advanced -> Cache and clear your cache. It might be that somehow the yahoo cache entry is corrupt.

First, the clear cache in Edit, preference, advanced is not working. I had to go to Windows/Application data/Mozilla/Profiles/xxx/yyy/cache to erase all cache content. When I tried to load yahoo.com after I did the above mentioned operation, the situation remains : No page is loaded.

I apologize for my last comment: In windows XP, the profile is in "Documents and settings", and I look at an old version where it was before I switched to XP. Clear cookies works as it should be. After clearing cookies and TEMP files, the problem holds. No display of yahoo.com

I was using version 20041116 , and downloaded version 20041206 which I am running. With this version, the problem desapeared. Lavasoft Adware SE is working fine. Just to tell the leaders this situation.

This bug remains with the latest version Mozilla 1.7.5 , Gecko/20041217. After typing the URL of any Yahoo pages ( main, photos, mail...), the browser shows a loading activity, but ends with a done message, and nothing in the screen...

Alberto, a current build would be 1.8a5 or the upcoming 1.8a6. The 1.7.5 version is using a 9-month-old core (and the Gecko build date for it is a bald-faced lie for purposes of telling what engine it's using). Could you please test a current trunk build?

Downloaded Moz 1.8a6 , 2005011006 , and the behaviour is the same : Yahoo is not displayed. I´ll keep using 1.7.5 because the multizilla plug in does not work in 1.8.
