The installation then aborted. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.double-click installer 2.wait 3. Actual Results: installation aborted, unspecified error Expected Results: installed firefox 1.0
this is the file I downloaded from http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/ which seems to be corrupted. After downloading the file a second time, the installer worked flawlessly.
You did not upload the whole 5 MB installer, did you? This is only a waste of resources! (In reply to comment #1) > After downloading the file a second time, the > installer worked flawlessly. So this was an problem with your connection or the server. No problem with FF. -> INVALID.
