User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0

I just updated from TB 0.9 to TB RC1. While checking for updates of the
extension I had, TB gave me the message "Thunderbird was not able to find any
available updates" on several extensions. I clicked "finish", and was surprised
to see that the extensions in question had been updated.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. in TB RC1, go to the extension manager
2. click "update" on, for example, "Buttons 0.4.9" (if you still have the old
version)

Actual Results:
1. TB says it didn't find any update
2. click on "finish"
3. the extension is not greyed anymore, and says that you should restart TB...
It has been updated.

Expected Results:
say that it has found an update.

was migrating from TB 0.9 to TB RC1 on Win XP, SP1.

This happened for the extensions:
-Buttons 0.4.9
-No New Window On Double Click 0.1.0
-Folderpane Tools 0.0.1
-Show SMTP Username 0.2.1
-Delete Junk Context Menu 0.3.2

Note that TB never said it had found an update, even though it did.

Is this problem reproducible with later builds of Firefdox or Thunderbird?
