This is a regression since the Aviary branch landing.
confirmed with the same 20041201 build, on Mac OS X 10.2.8
I remember a similar bug between Firefox 0.9 and 1.0 (during the summer), but it
disapeared after a week. I can't find back the checkin that fixed it though.
PS : bug 266478 mentions that there are problems with the Download Statusbar
extension, but I'm not using that. Reporter, are you ?

Aaron, this is Mac only because we don't support Ctrl-Q to quit on other
platforms. That was removed around Phoenix 0.2, iirc.

On yesterday's nightly, papillon-q displayed the behavior above. On today's
nightly (Gecko/20041201 Firefox/1.0+), I get the following behavior:
Quit Firefox: pops down dialog 'You have 6 tabs, do you want to close them all'
and 'do not ask this question again' checkbox.
Select 'Yes'
Then browser window goes away, but Firefox app still active. Try quitting
again, and Firefox does nothing (strictly speaking, 'Firefox' on the menu bar
*did* flash blue). I had to force-quit it.
If only one tab open, it closes the browser window without popping down the dialog.
Quit again, and Firefox does nothing. I had to force-quit it (again).

Identical behavior when I close the browser with the mouse (click on the
upper-left red circle).

I noticed this on the middle-aviary-landing build; but WFM on later builds.
Jeff: can you try latest build please (and remove Download Statusbar extension,
if installed)
This problem was checked by build of 20041201.
But, now, this problem is also checking being repaired.
Yes, it works now, I had to remove everything and start over with the latest build.
