User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/125.5.5 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/125.12 Build Identifier: Using Thunderbird rc1 for OS X-- When I launch the program, I want the window to display the last folder selected (usually Inbox). Instead, everytime I launch, it displays the Thunderbird Start Screen (the one that has Email-- Accounts--Advanced Features selections). I thought this was related to the Thunderbird Start Page in the General preferences pane, but I unchecked this and it still does the same thing. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

if you select download new mail at startup, your inbox will be selected...that's the way it works...
Hmm... I suppose that is OK. However, (and I may be in the minority), oftentimes when I open my mail program, I just want to manipulate my inbox (read previously downloaded messages, sort mail, compose replies, etc.) without checking for new mail (I might not even be connected to the net). I realize that even with the start page, the inbox is just one click away, but I'm just lazy and like getting right to work when the app opens. Also, I don't see the start page as being so incredibly useful (all its functions are accessible by the menu bar or toolbar) that it needs to be displayed at all in place of the normal inbox contents view. Just some thoughts. (In reply to comment #1) > if you select download new mail at startup, your inbox will be selected...that's > the way it works...

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter.
