add bug 93108 I believe DOM Ref is written in PageMaker (or Frame Maker?), output to DocBook, and then to HTMLs. It's not very efficient if we edit the HTMLs directly (since there are so many files and links). I'd say we hold this bug off until we find a more elegent solution to updating the manual.

Please hold off on making changes to the DOM ref unless you've consulted with both Doron and Fabian. Fabian owns the current domref, and Doron has done some work in updating and XMLizing it already. You should also talk with Michael Nachbaur who runs mozref.com

Any changes should be content only, changing markup is useless as we are heading to an XMLized source.

Is this still relevant, now that the reference is going to live on dev.m.o?

Marking this "fixed", since we now have a better way to edit the reference.
