We can easily click on the wrong one. I prefer the BIG IE buttons...

Or check your settings in View->Toolbars->Customize.

Or do you think the buttons are rendered too small because of a bug in the code?

Yes but in Firefox style there is no larger buttons (twice as large).

Actually it is not a bug, but a proposed improvement.

of Firefox uses the same MSIE Back and Next graphical buttons.

Can you clarify if you're using Icons and text or just text or just icons?
View/Toolbars/Customize... (also here verify that Use small icons checkbox is
not checkex)

All I could possibly say is that MSIE 6 Back and Next graphical buttons might be
larger... I have not tried the Cute theme

Actually I have a French explorer, and the English Firefox.
In French, "Back" is a longer word, hence the bigger button...
So I switched to Firefox in French, and I get the same!
