User-Agent: [Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:0.9.4.1) Gecko/2002]
Build Identifier: [Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:0.9.4.1) Gecko/2002]
Many sites, with usps as just an example, look at the revision part of the
user-agent and complain that Camino is too old; they require Mozilla 1.0, or
1.7, or higher (varies from site to site). Since the rv value is 0.9.4.1, which
is less than 1.0, these sites sometimes block access to them completely (for
example, AIM Express or college admissions sites).
There is no question that Camion CAN render these pages correctly, however.
I'm not sure exactly when this happened, but maybe a month or so ago. I think
that 0.8.1 still had the right version in it.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Visit a website which checks browser version
2. Receive notification that your browser is "too old"
Actual Results:
Website refuses to display, complaining that browser's version is too old.
Expected Results:
Website detects correct version and displays the page.

Error provided by usps.gov when Camino opens the page.
Looking at the User-Agent string generated bu Bugzilla while you reported this
bug indicates that you probably have used a user.js pref to set a different user
agent. I can see this because it doesn't identify itself as Camino.
Pleas check.

*Smacks self numerous time*
Sorry, my fault. You're right, I had a custom agent set, but I think that I
originally did this because Camino started acting up on its own...and nothing
worked (I used Camino ExtraPrefs for this).
Sorry again....my fault.
