had original issue with firefox freezing 1 day after installing Adblock
0.5.2.039. Today, I deinstalled Adblock 0.5.2.039 then tried to reinstall it. It
would not. I then unistalled and reinstalled Firefox 1.0 and tried it again. I
attemtpted this serval times with no success in downloading this extension. I
then tried other extensions i.e., Image Zoom 0.1.7 which also had same issue
nothing happened. I had Image Zoom 0.1.7 installed previous with no issue. Not
sure what to do.

also on bottom of web page when attempting to install Image Zoom extension the
enclosed was diplayed on bottom of page. A simallar msg was diplayed when trying
to install other extensions.

I posted a query in the MozillaZine Forum Index ->  Mozilla Firefox Support -
Problem installing extensions  and someone suggested to delete my firefox
profile. It seemed to work. 

This may not be a real bug - I will indicate this as an UNCONFRIMED.
