I downloaded mails from my mail account and the count shows the number of 
mails downloaded. When I click on the first mail, nothing displayed in the 
message window. When I moved to other mails also, no message displayed. I 
navigated to other folders and came back to Inbox and all mails just 
disappeared. This happened many times. I just could not get back my mails. So 
I stopped using Thunderbird.

Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download mails. Make sure there are mails in Inbox.
2. Navigate to a mail. If the message content does not display (don't know 
when this happens. But it happens and happened many times) navigate to some 
other folde and come back to Inbox.
3. Mails go KABOOOOOM

Actual Results:  
Mails disapper - never to come back
Do you have anti virus software active? Does this software found a virus in your
e-mails?

So, could that be caused due to quarantining a virus?
