User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0

After browsing in a single window (utilizing multiple tabs), at some point the
"Open link in new tab" functionality just stops working, whether using the
contextual menu, or Command-click. This problem is resticted to the one Firefox
window. If I open another window, tabbed browsing as described above works fine
in the new window, while continuing to be ignored in the old window.

Also, the "Copy Link Location" contextual menu option stops working in the same
Firefox window where "Open link in new tab" stops working. I suspect these are
related problems.

This problem is inttermittent; I do not have a set of steps that can reliably
reporduce it. It just seems to crop up after browsing for a while.

Reproducible: Sometimes

WFM, in Win2K at least. OSx build problem? Known limitation? How many tabs when
it stops working?
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0

I opened 49 tabs all at once, no problem. The tab labels were no bigger than the
firefox logo and marched right off the screen (had to use ctrl-tab to select them).
It's not a matter of the number of tabs open (I don't think), as I only had 5
open the last time I hit this. It seems to be more a function of how long I've
been browsing and/or which sites I'm hitting?

I can confirm this bug for Firefox 1.0 on Win2k (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U;
Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0).

In addition to the 'open link in new tab' and 'Copy Link Location' issues the
'copy/paste/cut' options in both context menu and Edit menu stop working, too.
This is broken for both, text in a page and text in form fields. The keyboard
shortcuts seem to work normally, though.

I found that I can reproduce this by closing the lid on my laptop (putting it to
sleep) while Firefox has a window open. When it wakes back up, the symptoms
described below occur.
