It would be nice to have the account preferences stored on the IMAP server (in a special mail file?) to avoid having to set or change them 4 or 5 times as I move from platform to platform. This might be helpful if Thunderbird is ever moved onto small devices like PDAs, too. Perhaps we could add a checkbox on the main account settings dialog for an account that says "Check here to store account settings on server". (Obviously, not all settings can be stored on the server - e.g., the connection info.) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
