User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 In Mozilla 1.7.3 and in Thunderbird 0.9, I set up a new profile and imported a large address book from Outlook Express. I edited some card to have the "Organization" field filled in. I clicked the column heading for Organization to sort by this field. I selected (highlighted) all the names showing the organization I wanted. I clicked on the Organization column heading again to reverse the sort order. The selected names lost visual highlighting and went outside the scroll view; the hightlighting remained in the same row positions, now occupied by other names I had not selected. Note that re-sorting by any other columns should be checked for this issue as well (nickname, department, additional email, phone/fax/pager #s) Workaround: "Don't do that" - choose the desired sort order before selecting and don't change it, or scroll to find the items again. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open address book 2. Find or create some names with the Organization field filled in 3. Click on the Organization column heading to sort by Organization 4. Select one or more names 5. Click again on the Organization column heading to reverse the sort. Actual Results: Highlighting stayed behind with different, unselected names displayed. Selected names lost hightlighting and went out of scroll view. Expected Results: Selected names, and only those names, should retain highlighting. Scroll position should be up Windows XP SP2; default theme
