Details

For Mozilla only.

GUID: n/a
Name: Mozilla Kiosk
Version: 1.84
minVersion: 1.7
maxVersion: 1.7.3
Description: Commissioned by the Brooklyn Museum, the Mozilla Kiosk is an
extension to the Mozilla web browser that enables a secure kiosk mode.
Basically, it's meant for use anywhere that's anonymous, public, semi-public,
and/or shared, or that requires special security precautions, such as public
kiosks and library/learning center web terminals, or as a secure browser for
terminal server sessions. It's the best, most useful kiosk-mode browser
available today.

Is *anyone* making updates right now?

Looks good to me. :-) We probably should consider MDG items trustable and skip
the testing phase in the future.

Out of curiousity, Is there any plans for this to work in Firefox?
Added and Approved, give it some time for the ftp mirrors to pick up the file.

Let me know if there's any problems with that listing. Thanks.

I'd love to port it to Firefox, but just don't have the time. BM only requested
a Mozilla version. Maybe someday ... :)

Thanks for the work guys.

BTW, is there any schedule for the u.m.o admin feature?
Its in the next version of update, which I hope to have in a public-beta this
week sometime, with it being pushed to update.mozilla.org by the end of next
week. if everything goes well.
It's great this is now up! Thanks. But shouldn't it be categorized under "Kiosk
Browsing"? If you click on that heading, this extension doesn't show up. Thanks.
Could you please add Jim Massey to the list of authors.
I can, What's his e-mail?

Also, it's supposed to be listed under Kiosk Browsing already.
Could you please rename this extension to OpenKiosk. Mozilla Kiosk could be
confused with an official version.
